How to View Your Former Instagram Username
Method 1: Using the Mobile App
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your device.
Step 2: Tap your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right.
Step 4: Tap Your activity.
Step 5: Scroll down and select Account History.
This page will show the changes you’ve made to your account since you created it. The changes include your username, name, bio, phone number, email address, and password.
To find your old username, scroll down and look for the label Username with an “@” icon. Below it, you’ll see “You changed your username to username.” You can even see when you changed the username.
To make it simple, you can apply a filter to see only the username change history.
For this, tap Update type at the top, select Username and tap Apply.
You’ll now see your previous username data only.
Method 2: Using the Instagram Web on Your PC
Step 1: Go to instagram.com and log in to your account.
Step 2: Click More at the bottom left.
Step 3: Select Your activity.
Step 4: From the left panel, select Account history.
Here you can see your username history along with other changes you’ve made to your account.

Step 1: Go to instagram.com and log in to your account.
Step 2: Tap your profile icon in the bottom right corner.
Step 3: Tap the settings icon in the top left.
Step 4: Tap Your activity.
Step 5: Select Account History.
Here you can explore your account history.
